Our Practices
Four Personal Spiritual Practices
Living a spiritual life means living out practices that center our lives with the deity that we claim to worship. Therefore, we have four essential personal spiritual practices we engage in.

We believe that by personally engaging in these daily practices, we will be able to center our lives the way Jesus did, thus being transformed into his likeness and making better communities where we live.
Daily Communal Life Rythyms
We also have 6 communal life rythyms we want to live out with each other. These rythyms extend our shared core values to our daily lives.
Community
We believe that God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit share perfect community and relationship. We value the human need for relationships and connecting in community. We live this out by spending time with others in our homes, jobs, and third space locations whether they believe
Family
We realize that in our culture family has been redefined. We value family as a building block of society. We live this out by spending time with our families first and church community second.
Truth
We believe that truth is anchored in Jesus. Truth is found everywhere, but not everything is truth. We value having an objective truth to hold onto. We live this out by holding the Old and New Testament scriptures as our living guide. We study them, memorize them, and apply them to our words and actions.
Communication
We believe that God has created us with the capacity to share ideas and beliefs. Without communication, we are alone and uninformed. We live this out by communicating with God and each other daily. We strive to use all means and media available to keep current relationships alive and cultivate new ones. This means we share stories--about God, ourselves, and those we are in community with.
Authenticity
We believe that being true to who we are is the best way to imitate Christ. He has made us in His image. Unfortunately, sin causes us to distort our true humanity. We live this out by not trying to hide our sin or be someone we are not. This means we know we cannot live a perfect life and need the grace of Jesus everyday.
Service
We believe that we are part of the whole called creation. God has made a wonderful creation that we inhabit with billions of other people. We cannot simply exist for ourselves, but must live understanding our connection to the whole. We live this out by giving time and resources in our community here and around the world. This means we help people and the environment whenever we can.
